| The Penn State College of Medicine/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center
serves as the PA IPF center for south Central Pennsylvania.
Penn State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is located 10 miles east of
Harrisburg, the state capital, with easy access from Interstates 83, 81 and the
Pennsylvania Turnpike. The Medical Center was established in 1967, is the newest
Medical School in Pennsylvania, and has a focus on rural medicine.
The Penn State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center PA IPF Center will have its
home in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine in the
Department of Medicine. The Division has ten faculty members and nine fellows who
care for patients with interstitial lung diseases.

Dr. Rebecca Bascom is Principal Investigator for the Penn
State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center PA IPF Center, is Professor of
Medicine, and has been recognized as one of America's Top Doctors since
2003. She will be working with the PA IPF Registry to gather occupational
and environmental exposure information about Registry participants.

Dr. Shoaib Alam is Assistant Professor of Medicine and
Co-Investigator for the Penn State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He has
a particular interest in understanding and managing the pulmonary vascular
complications of interstitial lung diseases.
